How can I read the New York Times?

Answer

There are two options for accessing the New York Times.

Option 1: Create an account for nytimes.com

DMACC students and staff can create a New York Times account for nytimes.com and NYT apps from the library.

1. Go to this page http://ezmyaccount.nytimes.com.dmacc.idm.oclc.org/grouppass

2. Click Create Account.

3. Create an account with your DMACC email address.

Your subscription will be good for 365 days. At the end of that time, you'll be prompted to re-register through the library.

Option 2: Access New York Times articles in a library database

Alternatively, if you would like to access New York Times articles but do not wish to create an account, you can access New York Times  through the Gale Academic OneFile database. (Coverage: 1985-present)

1. Access The New York Times in the Gale Academic OneFile database

2. You can choose a specific date (issue) to search or search within the publication.
