Does the library have DVDs for checkout?

Yes, DMACC Libraries have DVDs for checkout. The Ankeny, Boone, and Carroll campus libraries have DVDs for browsing in the library. You can place a hold and request DVDs to be sent to campus libraries, no matter where they are held.
To find DVDs and other options for video, use the Find Films search in the library catalog. This search narrows the resources to video only including DVD and streaming video from library databases.
Click on Find Films and then type in the name of a film or search by keyword.
On the results page look for the title or relevant video. There will be a campus location and call number for physical DVDs and for streaming video, you'll see a View now button that will take you to the streaming video database.
To place a hold on a DVD, click on the title and then look for the Request Campus Pickup button. Fill out the form with your preferred campus pickup location.
