How do I find streaming videos?

The library's streaming video collections include feature films, documentaries, educational films, and recorded performances available at no cost for personal or professional use by DMACC students, faculty, and staff.
Search from the Library Homepage
- On the library homepage click Find Films.
- Enter keywords or a film title in the search box and click on the magnifying glass.
- On the results page on the left-hand side of the page under Format, select eVideo (streaming format).
- When you find a title of interest, click on the View now button. This will take you directly to the streaming database where the video is available.
Browse streaming video databases
- On the library homepage click Choose Database.
- From the drop-down menus, click on Format / Source Type, select Streaming Videos, and then click Filter.
- Select a database to browse.
At this time, our top collections include:
- Academic Video Online (AVON) for documentary and feature films, and demonstrations.
- Feature Films for Education for feature and international films and literary adaptations.
- Films on Demand for educational and documentary films.
- Kanopy for documentary, feature, and foreign films.
- SWANK for feature, documentary, and international films and television series.
