Do you have HiSET materials available?
Answer
We have access to the Mometrix eLibrary through the State Library of Iowa. This is a free resource with test prep materials such as flashcards, practice tests, and guides for many different tests including the HiSET. Registering for Mometrix is free for all people in Iowa. Make sure that you are not using a VPN when accessing these resources. The HiSET resources are found under the Career tab, or you can search "HiSET" at the top of the page.
For those with an active DMACC email address, we have the PrepSTEP database that provides additional HiSET materials. In the top right, click the Sign Up link. Fill out the short form using your DMACC email. The Student ID# and Course Section # are not required.
Once registered and logged in, search HiSET in the search bar. Click on the magnifying glass to find all HiSET materials.
The DMACC Libraries also carry HiSET test prep books, which can be found using the search bar on our homepage or asking at the circulation desk.
